In the first studio class, we focused on residential design in an intensive five-week summer course. I was instructed to design and configure approximately 4,000 square feet in an existing apartment building located in the heart of Atlanta. Each person in my class was assigned clients with very specific requests, which created many challenges when it came to designing. This studio introduced me to conceptualization and its implementation.
